Happy Easter

Today was a busy one for Gracie and I. While daddy was outside attempting to build our new patio cover, us girls dyed eggs and attempted to make cupcakes. Gracie is totally into Easter this year and got very excited when I told her we were going to dye some eggs. All morning she kept asking when she got to color the eggs. Gracie did a great job and didn't crack one egg, unlike our incident last year where they all fell on the floor and broke. Gracie even made special eggs for daddy and Uncle Peter.

After the eggs, mommy decided it was time to make cupcakes for Easter. While mixing the ingredients, I thought the batter looked pretty thick but thought nothing of it and kept whirling away. The batter still looked strange so I took a quick look at the box and sure enough, I forgot to add water! I quickly added it and thought everything was fine. Gracie even declared the cupcake mix as tasting yummy! Ha! When I took the cupcakes out of the oven, they proceeded to collapse into themselves so I had to throw them away and start all over again.

Right now, it is midnight and this bunny is tired and headed off to bed. Have a Happy Easter Everyone
